Click here to read Pastor Jim's weekly,

"Another Sunday Has Passed."

A genuine love for people and a desire to see them grounded in their faith is one of Pastor Jim's greatest passions. He and his wife Diane, along with three of their five boys, Michael, Thomas and Benjamin, moved to Yarmouth from Moncton where Pastor Jim was the Executive Pastor of Adult Ministries. Jim is originally from Maine and he and his family lived in Diane's hometown of Mooers, New York, for ten years before entering the ministry full time.

He has served in various leadership roles both in the U.S. Air Force for six years (1983-1989) and in the ministry within the Atlantic District of the Wesleyan Church. He has served as both an Assistant Pastor and Senior Pastor and has a great desire to see the Church of Jesus Christ go forward and gain influence in our society.

Pastor Jim has an unmatched enthusiasm and drive for helping people grow in their understanding and love for God. His love for Christ and for people make a winning combination that inspires and motivates others to be on fire for building God's Kingdom. He and Diane have a great love for encouraging others in their walk with Christ while motivating and equipping others to do the same. Our prayer is that God will bless and multiply their ministry for His Glory in

the days ahead for Yarmouth Wesleyan.

Pastor A.J. grew up in Ontario in a Pastor’s home. Growing up he always wondered if he would be a pastor someday. God’s call on his life was confirmed when he was 18 and two years later he enrolled in Bethany Bible College. He graduated in 2005 and worked as a Youth Pastor in Bristol, NB.

His favourite part of being a pastor is meeting and getting to know new people. He also loves teaching God’s Word and seeing people become the men and women God intended them to be.

Pastor Julia was born into a Christ following family in Fredericton, NB. She was always involved in camp ministries and childcare and knew that whatever path she took she wanted to work with children. She enrolled at Bethany Bible College in 2003 with a desire to learn more about his Word and serve Him in whatever way he would have her. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion in 2007, God had used her time in school to confirm his calling on her life to minister to His children. Being blessed to have been instructed and raised in the knowledge of the Lord at a young age, she desires to teach and show that love of Christ to others.

Julia and A.J. met at Bethany Bible College and were married in December 2006. They moved to Yarmouth in July 2007 where Pastor A.J. is the Community Pastor and Pastor Julia is the Children’s Pastor.

Pastor Duane's passions are music, singing for the Lord, and leading others in worship. He was born and raised in PEI, attending O'Leary Church of the Nazarene. He felt God's calling to ministry in 1994 and entered BBC in 1995, taking a BA Religion with a Pastor Major and Music Ministry Minor. Graduating in 1999, he returned for another year in which he received his BA Christian Education with a Music Major and graduated with his second degree in 2000, marrying Jennifer in May 2000.

During his years at BBC, Duane worked part time at Olivet Wesleyan Church as Music/Youth Pastor, travelling with music teams and chorale. During this time he was weekly Worship leader and Student Council Fellowship President. Duane worked in Sussex NB for two years at various jobs while Jen finished her degree at Bethany. During these two years, Duane could hardly wait to start full time ministry, and he joined our Pastoral staff in July 2002.

We have a wonderful music program here at Yarmouth Wesleyan and look forward to the growth and excitement that continue to build under Pastor Duane's leadership. Don't miss out on some great opportunities to be involved in this ministry as we build God's kingdom through music and outreach!

It is with great zeal and fervor that Pastor Seth seeks the will of God through His Word, and in God’s design of prayer through Jesus, to be used as a bondservant to the glory of God and the bearing of His fruit. Pastor Seth’s passion is to be an empty vessel so that the Spirit of God becomes transparent through Him and touches the lives of others. July 2006 is when Pastor Seth responded to the call of full-time ministry here in Yarmouth and he and his wife, Leanne are a welcome part of our church family.

Pastor Seth was born in Presque Isle, Maine, and in God’s divine Providence, was adopted into the family of Rev. Bud and Kathy Fancy in 1984. Pastor Seth has lived in various places such as southern Maine, Alabama, and Upstate New York due to the various ministry callings of his father. Pastor Seth is a very recent graduate of Bethany Bible College, the class of 2006, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion with a ministerial focus in Pastoral Ministry. He has been involved in many different ministry experiences such as a six-month internship at Presque Isle Wesleyan Church in Northern Maine to leading and teaching small groups of all ages.

When Rev. Ron Morehouse prays, he has a way of opening the doors of heaven and has ushered Yarmouth Wesleyan to the throne of grace many times as he speaks to the Father on their behalf. With a love of outdoors, canoeing, fishing, motorcycling, he has a great appreciation for God's creation and holiness. Pastor Ron is loved and respected by all and looked to as a man with much wisdom and experience in serving the Lord with dedication.

Born in Fredericton, NB in 1925, Pastor Ron lived the first 17 years of his life in Doaktown, NB on the Miramichi River. He served with the RCAF during World War II, returning in 1946 to work as an auto mechanic.

In 1949 he began to attend BBC which was located in Yarmouth at the time. He married Kay Lutes in 1951, also a Bethany student. They have two daughters, Ruth and Angela. He graduated in 1952 and was ordained as an Elder of the church in 1953. He and his wife served in pastorates in Havelock, NB, Millville, NB, Sandford, NS, and North Head Grand Manan, NB. Pastor Ron joined the staff at Yarmouth Wesleyan in 1984 as Pastor of Counseling and Visitation. Now he is fully retired and holds the title of Pastor Emeritus. He and Kay are thankful to God for all of His leading down through the past 50 years of service, and they continue to serve God.

As one of the senior Pastors on the Atlantic District of The Wesleyan Church, it is an honor to have such a wonderful godly resource in our midst.
